Our age-based educational enrichment and mentoring programs promote strong interpersonal skills that will empower our girls to Speak Up and Speak Out.

Power Hour
Girls ages 6-18 dedicate 1 hour on homework and tutor assistance
SciTech Girlz:
Girls develop interest and skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Through our hands-on activities girls explore, and become problem-solvers, Inventors and logical thinkers.
Project R.E.A.D:
Girls will be inspired to participate in a reading book challenge to enhance their vocabulary and analytical thinking skills. Girls will be divided up in age-based groups and participate reading activities.
Sports & Adventure:
Sporting Change
Girls explore several of options to keep fit and maintain active routines, and promote healthy and balanced lifestyles.
Mind & Body:
Girls will learn how to recognize stress and how to manage stress and how to avoid stressful situations, they will recognize their mood swings and attitudes and participate in activities and exercise that will help them control their stress levels.
Career & Life Planning
College Readiness:
Girls ages13-18 are prepared for success in college and career by engaging in act ivies that assist them in pursuing their goals. Girls participate in college fairs, job fairs and have assistance in applying for scholarships, grants and job applications along with interview process.
Girlz O.T.M (On the Move):
Using various activities girls explore the concept of being professional business women. They set the career of their choice and manage their chosen careers. They learn to develop business plans, market analysis and the in/out of owning their own business.
Financial Literacy:
Using hands on activities girls will learn financial skills, basic responsible habits, and log-term thinking that will help them achieve greater independence which will draw a parallel of survival/needs to save and invest for the future.
Culture & Arts:
Girls develop creativity awareness through visual and tactile arts and crafts:

Adventures Around the World:
Through arts and crafts girls will visit 10 countries of their choice and discover the customs, foods, and family traditions. This expedition will be filled with experiences that are fun, creative, and educational.
Celebrate the Heritage:
Girls develop an appreciation for their heritage and the diversity of cultures around them. Programs provide opportunities for girls to participate in cultural activities and attend civic and arts events. Recognizing diverse forms of creative expression, girls further recognize the contributions of women to history and culture.
Health & Sexuality:
Teen Pact:
Educates and encourage girls to develop healthy relationships, avoiding teen sexual activity and its physical, emotional, and social consequences. Girls will engage in activities that will educate them on consequences of being a teen mom.
Positive PeerSuasion:
Girls will develop the confidence to say No to drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. Girls will engage in activities that will boost their confidence to think positive and learn healthy ways to manage peer pressure without compromising who they are. Girls will follow along with interactive narrative scenarios as they decide what to do and how.
Self-Reliance & Life Skills:
Media & Me:
Girls increase their awareness of the power the media and the effects of media messages on girls and women. They learn to communicate appropriately, responsible, and evaluate conversations critically.
Project Bullyproof:
Girls learn how to avoid being in a bullying situation. Counteracts the lure of teen gangs, violence and street influences of unfriendly students and teens.
Leadership, Character & Community Actions:
Operation Unique:
Girls lean the power they have inside and how to use that power in a positive manner. They learn to be authentic, stand up and stand on what they believe. Through self-esteem enhancement programs girls learn their inner strength and inner beauty.
Community Affairs:
Girls build their leadership skills through community action projects. This program was adapted from the YES Youth of the Year. YES of the Year is designed to recognize girls who demonstrate leadership skills through service to others, volunteering and community involvement.
Mediation & Conflict Resolution:
Girls learn how to resolve a situation in a non-violent manner before it becomes an angry or violent confrontation. Skills taught include the ability to compromise, listen attentively, and be assertive.
