Teen Zone

Teen Zone is designed to address the academic and social needs of young adults transitioning to college and the workforce. Our curriculum encourages students to explore academic and vocational pathways that will equip them with essential skills for employment and their overall leadership development.

Early engagement is critical, so we teach our youth critical thinking skills regarding higher education beginning at age 12 and until they are 18. Teen Zone develops community pillars and has several programs aimed at promoting healthy characteristics. An overview of programs within Teen Zone includes educational workshops, community service events, recreational events, college tours, and career fairs. It is our goal to equip every youth impacted by this program with tools they need to excel in their future.

Parental involvement is strongly encouraged as teens need multiple sources of support. Parents can become involved in a variety of ways such as volunteering to be a guest speaker as well as chaperoning events and trips.
