Grant Director / Advisory Board Member
Jennifer Kendrick, Grant Director / Advisory Board Member: With a personal goal of using her skill sets towards the advancement of underrepresented populations, Jennifer comes to YES with 8 years of experience in the development of proposals, coordination and management of grant activities, expenditures, and resources for various community based organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.Jennifer was first introduced to the nonprofit world as a Volunteer Manager and Resource Coordinator in 2010. Through her experiences working for various nonprofit and publicly funded organizations, she has cultivated an ability to take a vision and makes it a reality through the development of sound grant proposals.
As the YES Grant Director and Advisory Board Member, Jennifer will assist in the strategic planning of organizational goals as well as create a funding plan for the enhancement and/or creation of YES programs.
Jennifer currently lives in Lancaster, Texas but is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavior Analysis from Savannah State University in Savannah, Georgia. When she isn’t serving the Dallas community, she enjoys traveling, baking/cooking, and attending professional sports games.
