Christen Fields-Carr, Assistant Youth Program Director / Teen Zone Director: A multidisciplinary expert in program management and development for the Youth Empowered forSuccess organization. Christen is a proactive and adaptive self starter, influential speakerand educator with the ability to convey complex thoughts into powerful visuals and words. Sheis responsible for implementing youth programs and curriculum for YES after-school and summerprogram.

She serves as a unique blend of resourcefulness, innovation in forward thinking with thecommunity in mind as well as progressive leadership to develop and produce high qualityeducational and creative arts programs.he is adept in developing effective educational programplans, creating long term strategic plans and objectives for the growth of the YES program anddevies progressively effective methods of tactically implementing those plans.

Christen graduated from Cheyney University with a B.A in Interdisciplinary Studies: Theater,Film, Mass Communication and Media Production. During her six years of teaching, she has beenpart of developing and creating art schools in New Orleans such as NOTDP and Crossfire ArtAcademy. When she is not teaching Theater at LG Pinkston High School, she is creating artthrough the medium of film and visual arts.
